Made for the ocean
Why we don't use recycled polyester.
Recycled polyester looks good on a label. But every time it is worn and washed it sheds microplastics — tiny plastic beads — straight into the water. That ends up in the same ocean we are trying to protect.
Our recycled canvas surfboard covers are built to last a lifetime — but they never see the ocean or a washing machine. A surf cap does, every session. So for gear that lives in the water, we use fabric that will not shed into it.
So we don't use it. We build with durable, longer-lasting fabric made to go the distance. Buy one cap that lasts, not three that shed.
